Virgo

$95.00

Fairest Virgo, always seeking the best in humanity. They take the bold and fiery energy of Leo and refine it into something meaningful and authentic. The last of the Earth signs, Virgo is the ambassador that paves the way for a seamless transition into Fall. They are also practical, hardworking, methodical, and organized. The harvest has come and now is the time for reaping. Their close proximity to Libra imbues them with reason, but can sometimes overcloud their intuition and confidence. Virgo season is the time to reflect on what makes us our best selves, and introduce more routine that allows us to live our best lives.

“Astraea was the celestial maiden goddess born of the Winds and the Dawn during the Golden Age of humankind. In this age, humans lived long youthful lives in the ever-fruitful garden of Earth, intermingling with the divine and producing demigod offspring. This was an age of peace and serenity, until Zeus overthrew his father, Cronus, taking the throne of the heavens. In this new age, Zeus sought to establish dominance over humans, requiring piety and offerings in return for favor. The eternal Spring that once produced endless sustenance now gave way to the other harsher seasons. Humans had to work for food to survive and lived shorter lives filled with jealousy, strife and war. Belief in these new gods began to wane, and this angered Zeus to a point where he summoned a great flood. Wiping out the human race allowed him to start over with a newer, more respectful race. But with each new race, the faith of humans decreased more and more. Eventually, defeated, the gods deserted the humans and returned to the vaulted heavens. Astraea was the only god left on earth, until she too had lost hope in the goodness in humans. She ascended into the heavens and became the constellation, Virgo. It is said that one day she will return to Earth, bringing with her the light of the Golden Age once more.”
