Pisces
Pisces
The magic and wonder of the zodiac, Pisceans exemplify an abounding ocean of love and emotion that the other water signs feed into. Being the final water sign in the cycle, mutable Pisces takes the lessons learned in the harsh winter and comfortably adapts and prepares for the changing of seasons, giving way to a new spring. The two fish bound by a cord represent the dual nature of Pisces, as they comfortably wade between physical and spiritual realms, conscious and subconscious, internal and external selves.
“During the rampage of earth-born Typhon, the father of all monsters, many of the gods escaped and sought refuge in safer parts of the world. In their escape, Aphrodite and her son Eros hid themselves in the bellies of two fish swimming in a river. Once they made it to safety, Aphrodite honored the fish by placing them in the stars as the constellation Pisces, as they were vital in keeping Love alive in time of great fear.”
