Actaeon was a famed hunter in Greek mythology. While on a hunt one day, he stumbled across Artemis bathing in a spring. Upon seeing her voyeur, Artemis cursed Actaeon and transformed him into stag. His hunting dogs, not knowing it was him, chased him through the forest until finally catching and devouring him.
